Manage opportunity contacts

Associate the right people with an opportunity and use contact signals to understand buyer roles and engagement.

Opportunity contacts show the people connected to a deal. Keeping this list accurate helps GTM Engine understand buyer roles, stakeholder coverage, engagement, and whether the opportunity is connected to the right account relationships.

Open opportunity contacts

Open an opportunity and find the Contacts panel.

The panel shows contacts already associated with the opportunity, along with available relationship and engagement signals.

Add contacts

Click Add contacts to associate more people with the opportunity.

Depending on the account context, you can:

  • Select contacts already linked to the account.
  • Search existing contacts.
  • Create a new contact.
  • Find contacts by criteria when account domain data is available.

Contacts already associated with the opportunity are shown as already linked so you do not add duplicates.

Review contact signals

Contact cards can include signals such as:

  • Promoter score.
  • Interest level.
  • Contact role.
  • ICP persona fit.
  • Recent activity.

Open a signal detail when you want to understand why GTM Engine assigned that value.

Remove contacts

Remove a contact from the opportunity when they are no longer part of the deal team or were linked by mistake.

Removing the association does not delete the contact record. It only disconnects the contact from that opportunity.

Keep contacts useful

For better opportunity analysis:

  • Link known stakeholders to the opportunity.
  • Add missing account contacts before forecast or deal reviews.
  • Keep buyer roles current as the deal evolves.
  • Review activity history to confirm which contacts are engaged.
