Configure fiscal year start
Set the month and day your fiscal year starts so GTM Engine reports and forecasts align with your operating calendar.
Fiscal year start tells GTM Engine how to group dates into fiscal periods. Configure it when your company's fiscal year does not match the calendar year, or when forecasts and reporting should use a specific operating calendar.
Before you start
- Confirm the month and day your fiscal year starts.
- Use an account with permission to manage organization settings.
Open organization settings
Go to Settings → Configuration → Organization Details.
Find Fiscal Year Start near the organization timezone and related organization-level settings.
Choose the start date
Select the fiscal year start month and day.
Examples:
- January 1 means the fiscal year matches the calendar year.
- February 1 means fiscal quarters and yearly reporting start in February.
- July 1 means the fiscal year starts in July and ends the following June.
If you change the month to one with fewer days, GTM Engine adjusts invalid day selections so the saved date remains valid.
Save changes
Click Save Changes after selecting the date.
The saved fiscal year start is used anywhere GTM Engine needs to align dates to fiscal periods, including forecasts, reporting, and organization-level setup checks.
